Let's learn from the mistakes we see people in the news making and do everything we can to make ourselves better before we even attempt to better any other nations. Then once we improve ourselves and set an example how a nation should be run, rather than being an awful example and thinking we can actually make a difference. When has, "Do as I say, Not as I Do" work?
Before you try to argue the bible as a reason for certain ideas, remember the golden rule in the bible, "Treat others as you'd like to be treated". When your idea lives up to that, then I'll discuss it.
Worst things in our country right now:
Education - It could save the world, but they want to keep us dumb so we'll do the brunt work. How do we do better? Make it as difficult to become a doctor as a teacher. Pay teachers like doctors. Better teachers, better results. Get rid of the current education process completely and use science to create a system that works best for everyone. If one system for everyone doesn't work, create as many systems as it takes.

Don't believe anything you hear in the news, hear from your friends or read in the paper. Use it as a tool for finding out the truth yourself. Question everything, especially people in power. Power fucks people up.
